Steve has over 30 years of experience in air emission testing, dispersion modelling, air pollution control, flue gas desulphurization, extractive metallurgy, analytical procedures for environmental samples, combustion processes, engineering economics, process chemical engineering, odour measurement and control and statistical evaluation.  Steve has managed major projects involving air emission testing at steel works, municipal incinerators, cement plants, automobile plants, food industry, foundries, power plants and chemical plants.  His project involvement has also included flue gas desulphurization studies for the metallurgical industry, application of dispersion models to emissions from a variety of industries, statistical design and analysis of laboratory experiments, analytical procedures for environmental samples including PCB, dioxins, asbestos, metals, gases, odours, oils, etc.  Steve has been involved in the theory, operation and design of air pollution control systems, environmental assessments of combustion and incineration processes, development of air emission testing procedure and consultation on compliance with environmental regulations.  Steve is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada, and a current member of the Source Evaluation Society and Air and Waste Management Association.
